On 27 August, the cargo ship PROGRESS IV, flying the flag of the Dominican Republic, caught fire and sank in the Black Sea near Romania. Authorities suspect the vessel may have been attacked, but the exact cause of the fire is currently unknown. All 12 crew members were rescued, with one person sustaining injuries.
