On 28 August 2026, the Second Western District Military Court in Moscow sentenced Oleksiy Arrestovych to 11 years in prison in absentia. He was found guilty of spreading false information about the Russian army and inciting terrorism, with the first three years to be served in prison and the remainder in a general regime colony.
