In the Cherkasy region, 3,872 people contracted acute respiratory viral infections, including COVID-19, from October 5 to 11, 2026. More than half of the patients are children, specifically 2,266, which accounts for 58.52% of the total. The highest rates of illness were recorded in the Zolotonis’kyi and Zvenyhorodskyi districts.
