The Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office of Kherson is investigating environmental crimes committed during the Russian aggression. Significant damage to the environment has been noted, including fires in protected areas and illegal transportation of animals from the 'Askania-Nova' biosphere reserve. The prosecutor's office is forming a evidence base for international courts.
