Supreme Court cancels damages claim against convicted man's wife

On 22 July 2026, the Supreme Court of Ukraine partially upheld an appeal from a convicted fraudster, cancelling the damages claim against his wife. The court stated that being married does not automatically make one spouse liable for the actions of the other.
