Detention of Jehovah's Witness representative in Crimea

On August 10, 2026, Ilya Chertov, a representative of Jehovah's Witnesses from Crimea, was detained at Sochi airport. After a few days, he was taken to Simferopol, where he was charged under an extremist article and sentenced to three days in custody.
