On September 1, an intelligence officer reported that there is no stable presence of Russian troops in Olexiyivka-Druzhkivka, Donetsk region. He stated that only isolated reconnaissance and sabotage groups operate there, which are used to sow panic, but Ukrainian forces detect and eliminate them.
