A conflict between the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) led to a shooting incident. Former SBU Deputy Head Andriy Levus stated that the situation results from a collapse in management and competition among security agencies, which is particularly dangerous during wartime. Counterintelligence officer Roman Chervynskyi pointed out the lack of a clear explanation for the conflict and the searches conducted at a GUR employee's premises.
