On September 7, 2022, National Guard of Ukraine Captain Dmytro Bocharnikov, known as "Kaiman," was killed. He served as the chief of staff in the "Rubizh" brigade and participated in combat operations in eastern Ukraine, including in Shchastia, Rubizhne, Sievierodonetsk, and Lysychansk. Bocharnikov died during a counteroffensive near Balakliia due to an enemy airstrike.
