Border guard Serhiy Yurchenko returns after three years in captivity

Serhiy Yurchenko, a major in the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, returned to service after three years in captivity. He participated in the defense of Mariupol and was wounded, leading to his capture by Russian forces. After returning to Ukraine on June 14, 2025, Yurchenko resumed his military career.
