On September 8, 2026, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, resulting in casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure. Trains, including the Dnipro — Zaporizhzhia route, as well as rescuers and residential buildings in Kyiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were targeted.
