Demand for firewood rises by 60% in Chernihiv region

In the Chernihiv region, the demand for firewood has increased by approximately 60% compared to last year. Maxim Ihnatchenko, the chief engineer of the Northern branch of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine, noted that such growth has not been seen in over 20 years. The price of firewood has remained unchanged since October 2025, although delivery costs have partially changed.
