Seventeen thousand Hasidic pilgrims have arrived in Ukraine ahead of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, despite the threat of Russian shelling. Most of the pilgrims are entering through border points with Moldova, particularly 'Starokozache', which has recently been targeted by Russian attacks.
