Lyudmyla Volkova, an operating room nurse at the Novhorod-Siverskyi Central City Hospital, has worked in medicine for about 30 years, nearly 16 of which have been in the operating room. She is responsible for the blood bank at the hospital and discusses the challenges of working with wounded individuals due to Russian shelling. Ahead of Medical Day, she was recognized by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
