On September 9, 2026, Ukrainian drones attacked two factories in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug of Russia for the first time. The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces reported that the drones covered over 3000 km to hit the Novy Urengoy and Purovsky factories, which are involved in the preparation and processing of gas condensate.
