Funerals for soldiers previously considered missing took place in the Chernihiv region on 22 and 25 August. On 22 August, family and friends said their final goodbyes to Serhiy Hladkyi, Artem Levchuk, and Oleksandr Kuzilikov, while Yuriy Shtanko, Oleg Volnyk, and Oleksandr Zdot were buried on 25 August.
