Ticks in Kyiv: 48% infected with Lyme disease

The tick activity season is ongoing in Kyiv, with nearly half of the ticks found to be infected with Lyme disease. According to infectious disease specialist Yuriy Sukhov, 48% of the examined ticks tested positive, and about 13% of Lyme disease cases were of the non-erythema form.
