European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced three main areas of support for Ukraine, including increased assistance ahead of winter, strengthening air defense, and enhancing sanctions against Russia. The EU is also financing the purchase of Patriot missiles and developing a joint air defense system based on the 'Freyja' project.
