Around 9,000 violators detained at the border in eight months
In the first eight months of 2026, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detained about 9,000 individuals attempting to illegally cross the border. Most detentions occurred outside of border crossing points, with 200 violators apprehended in the past week.
