Ukraine toughens penalties for fraudulent call center activities

Ukraine has enacted amendments to the Criminal Code that establish criminal liability for the creation and operation of fraudulent call centers. Participation in such centers can result in up to 10 years of imprisonment, along with the possibility of asset confiscation.
