Social assistance for people with disabilities in Ukraine

Around 8,000 residents of Volyn receive state social assistance instead of pensions due to insufficient work experience. The financial aid for people with disabilities is based on insurance history and disability group, and can be granted even without the required years of employment. Payments for the care of people with disabilities are also planned for September 2026.
