Volodymyr Smolanka, the rector of Uzhhorod National University, has been elected as a corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. This decision was made during the academy's general assembly, and Smolanka is the first graduate of the UzhNU medical faculty to achieve this status.
