China prepares TMS-10 supersonic aircraft for first flight

China is moving to the final stage of developing the TMS-10 supersonic passenger aircraft, which will fly at twice the speed of sound. The first test flight is scheduled for the end of 2026. The aircraft features a reduced sonic boom and is an analogue of NASA's X-59.
