The Ukrainian Chess Federation expressed concern over the potential appointment of Mykhailo Podolyak as FIDE vice president if Timur Turlov wins the elections. The federation does not support Turlov's candidacy, as he is under Ukrainian sanctions, and did not authorize Podolyak to represent them.
