416 people drowned in Ukraine during the summer

In the summer of 2026, 416 people drowned in Ukraine's water bodies, including 56 children. The highest number of fatalities was recorded in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv Oblasts. Compared to 2025, the number of drowning incidents increased.
