Government prepares draft law on mining waste management in line with EU standards

The Ukrainian government is developing a draft law to adapt mining waste management to EU standards. The basis will be draft law No. 12180, with proposals accepted until September 26. The updated document is planned to be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by the end of December 2026.
