Prices for buckwheat rise again: new harvest and market trends
Farmer Oleksiy Vasylenko from Pishchane reported that the price of buckwheat has fluctuated between 14,000 and 55,000 UAH per ton over the past five years. Currently, wholesale buyers are willing to pay 38,000 UAH per ton for the new harvest. The regional agricultural department noted that the areas sown with buckwheat have decreased over the past three years.
