Man sentenced to 9 years for extortion in Rivne detention center
A court in Rivne sentenced a 25-year-old man to 9 years in prison for extorting a nonexistent debt in a detention center. He, along with accomplices, demanded money from three individuals, threatening them and their relatives, and one victim was beaten. Two other defendants are still awaiting trial.
