Tax increases announced in Russia after elections
Following the elections in Russia, the Ministry of Finance announced tax increases, despite previous assurances from Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov that such plans did not exist. The statement raised contradictions as Peskov had claimed earlier that tax hikes were not on the agenda.
