Yevhen Konovalets returns to Ukraine 88 years after his death

On 26 August 2026, Yevhen Konovalets, the founder of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN), was reburied in Ukraine, 88 years after his death. His temporary resting place is the National Memorial Military Cemetery, and he will eventually be interred in the National Pantheon.
