Since the beginning of 2026, Ukraine has seen a sharp decline in shopping centre attendance due to mass Russian attacks, resulting in the destruction of three centres and damage to nine others. The total losses for the industry are estimated at 3.23 billion UAH. There are also reports of delays in exiting shopping centre car parks during air raid alerts.

Ukraine is experiencing a sharp decline in visitor numbers at shopping malls due to mass Russian attacks. Since the beginning of 2026, three malls have been destroyed and nine damaged, with direct losses in the sector reaching 3.23 billion UAH.
