On August 31, 2026, Kyiv experienced a drone attack by Russian forces, resulting in explosions and fires in several areas of the city. Debris from the drones fell in the Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts, causing fires in open areas and non-residential buildings. The Mayor of Kyiv confirmed the debris fell at three locations in the Solomianskyi district.

On the evening of August 31, a Russian drone attack occurred in Kyiv, resulting in fires in several districts of the city. Debris from the drones fell in the Darnytskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts, causing fires in open areas and non-residential buildings.
Debris from unmanned aerial vehicles has been reported in three locations in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv. A fire broke out at a site of debris on non-residential property. Debris also fell on open land and in a park in the area.
