From September 2026, property owners can receive 450 UAH per month for each internally displaced person hosted for free. New rules have also been introduced for compensation of up to 6,000 UAH for housing rent for certain categories of individuals.
From the beginning to today
From September 2026, landlords can receive 450 UAH per month for each free-of-charge accommodated internally displaced person. Basic payments for internally displaced persons remain unchanged: 3000 UAH for children and people with disabilities, 2000 UAH for other eligible recipients.
