FIBA has partially lifted sanctions on Russian and Belarusian athletes, allowing them to compete at an individual level. However, the return of teams from these countries will be considered at the FIBA Central Board meeting in December. Additionally, FIS has permitted skiers from Russia and Belarus to compete in a neutral status for the 2026/27 season.
