Storyline
In 2026, an expedition named 'In Search of Heroes' uncovered 213 graves of Ukrainian soldiers from the Liberation Struggles in Europe. Organised by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, the expedition also found the lost grave of the first female officer of the Ukrainian People's Republic, Khyristyna Sushko. Additionally, it highlighted the neglect of graves of Ukrainian defenders in local cemeteries.
From the beginning to today
Під час експедиції «У пошуках героїв» було знайдено 213 могил українських комбатантів на 105 цвинтарях у семи країнах Європи. Експедиція тривала з 6 до 26 липня 2026 року і організована Українським інститутом національної пам’яті разом з іншими організаціями.
