On September 1, in the village of Tarnivtsi in the Uzhhorod district, pyrotechnicians destroyed an artillery shell discovered during construction work. A man digging a trench for a foundation found a suspicious metal object and reported it to the emergency services. Experts identified the object as a 152-mm artillery shell and destroyed it at a special site.
