The appeals court upheld the life sentence for a stepfather convicted of raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter. The crimes occurred from September 2024 to April 2025, and the man was found guilty on six counts of abuse. The child reported the abuse to law enforcement after the perpetrator continued to threaten her.
