On September 4, the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv decided to release SBU officer Nazar Verkhol under the personal recognizance of the head of the counterintelligence department of the SBU. He is suspected of exceeding official authority in a shooting incident between the SBU and the GUR that occurred on September 2 in Kyiv.
