   Terekhov proposes to reduce VAT on basic products to 5%

   Ihor Terekhov presented a plan to combat poverty in Ukraine, suggesting to lower VAT on basic food products and medicines to 5%. He also called for increasing minimum wages and pensions, noting that the poverty rate in Ukraine has reached 41.6%. These initiatives were discussed at a round table involving lawmakers and experts.
