In September 2026, it was recognised in Ukraine that the right to collect rent is absent in certain cases, meaning that the obligation to pay rent can be terminated under specific conditions. It was also noted that neither the Civil Code nor the Law on Land Lease requires the signing of each page of the lease agreement, adding a new aspect to the contract formation process.
