On the morning of September 2, 2026, a traffic accident occurred in Ivano-Frankivsk, where a Kia Optima collided with a Mitsubishi Lancer. After the collision, the Kia driver veered into oncoming traffic and hit a pedestrian crossing the road at a crosswalk. The injured man was hospitalized.
