From the beginning to today
Since the beginning of 2026, over 2,280 girls aged 12-13 have been vaccinated against human papillomavirus (HPV) in the Chernihiv region. The vaccination is part of a new initiative in the National Immunization Calendar, which provides free vaccinations for girls of this age. A future step may include vaccinating boys, which is also planned to be free.
