Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned of a potential new mobilisation in Russia following the State Duma elections scheduled for 18-20 September 2026. He stated that the Kremlin may mobilise around 300,000 people in 2026 and another 300,000 in 2027, although this decision has not been officially confirmed.
