In September 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated UAH 67.6 billion to enhance the engineering protection of critical infrastructure in regions lagging behind in the implementation of 'resilience plans' ahead of winter. Specifically, nearly UAH 44 billion of this amount is designated for the protection of critical infrastructure.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky held a meeting of the Operational Coordination Center to discuss the implementation of regional resilience plans ahead of the heating season. Delays in the construction of protective structures and equipment installation were identified in some regions. The government allocated 67.6 billion UAH for these plans.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to allocate 43.7 billion UAH for the engineering protection of critical infrastructure facilities. Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky announced that the government has already directed a total of 67.6 billion UAH for regional 'resilience plans'.
