On September 15, 2026, an attempt to illegally smuggle a conscripted man across the state border was uncovered in Zakarpattia. A 25-year-old organizer was detained on suspicion of receiving $15,000 for this service. A criminal proceeding has been opened under Article 332 of the Criminal Code.
