In September 2026, the National Museum of Hutsul Folk Art and Pokuttya celebrated its 100th anniversary in Kolomyia. During the festivities, the museum received a portrait of its founder, Yosyp Kobrynskiy, created by the Honoured Artist of Ukraine Valeriy Duvirak.
From the beginning to today
On September 19, Kolomyia celebrates the centenary of the National Museum of Hutsul and Pokuttya Folk Art. The festivities take place at several locations, featuring performances by musical and choreographic groups, as well as a fair showcasing crafts by folk art masters.
