Surgeons at the Northern Regional Military Medical Clinical Center in Kharkiv performed an 8-hour surgery to restore a damaged vein in a 36-year-old infantryman. The operation was made possible after the removal of a 60-centimeter thrombus, which saved the patient's leg.
