Archaeologists in Cherkasy uncovered a collection of artefacts from the late 19th to early 20th century during excavations in the Kazbet neighbourhood. The discovered materials, including ceramics and glassware, are set to be displayed at the Cherkasy Archaeological Museum of the Middle Dnieper.
From the beginning to today
In Cherkasy, archaeologists explored the territory of the Kazbet microdistrict and discovered a collection of finds from the late 19th to early 20th century. The research was conducted by the Cherkasy expedition of the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, led by Dmytro Kushtan.
