From the beginning to today
A collection of 500 iron bars, likely sunk with a ship in the Danube, has been discovered by Austrian archaeologists. Approximately one ton of iron rods, dating back over 2200 years, has been studied. This find is the largest collection of prehistoric iron bars in Europe.
