Introduction of a fee to fund aircraft leasing in Russia

Russia is considering the introduction of a new fee on air passengers to fund the leasing of domestic aircraft instead of foreign ones. The initiative is being discussed by the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Industry, and the state corporation 'Rostec', with a proposed fee ranging from 500 to 700 roubles per ticket.
